“I am a recent postgraduate from Peking University and have just completed a four-week summer academic program at Lincoln College. I am pleased to say that it was a highly rewarding experience.
My subject was Classics, which was divided into two sessions: Ancient Greek for the first two weeks and Latin for the next two. Each session featured small class sizes, one-to-two or even one-to-one, providing personalized and engaging instruction. This setup allowed for thorough interaction with the material and close attention from the tutors.Participants were also given a library card that provided access to all Oxford libraries. This was an invaluable resource, offering a wide range of materials that greatly supported our research and learning.
The program was distinguished by its diverse and welcoming atmosphere. Students from around the world joined, creating a supportive community. For the past four weeks, various group activities helped build strong connections and made the experience both academically and socially enriching.Additionally, the staff were attentive and responsible, always ensuring students' safety. The accommodation was also very comfortable and exceeded my expectations.

“I recently had the amazing opportunity to attend the Academy Program at Oxford University, and it was a truly enriching experience. Even though I'm a lawyer, I decided to join the politics program because it delved into war theory, which I found fascinating and directly connected to my area of interest. The course was super interactive, ensuring a hands-on approach, so it was all about active participation and really diving deep into the topics. Dr. Jody was always cheerful, supportive, and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Beyond the academic benefits, the program offered an opportunity to make wonderful friends from all over the world and diverse backgrounds. The social atmosphere was excellent and the program was well-organized, allowing us to take full advantage of Oxford's historic libraries and to explore both the city of Oxford and London. So in all, the program was both academically qualified and entertaining. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to gain academic experience in a really friendly atmosphere.”

“This was my second time at the Lincoln College Summer Academy. I decided to come here again because I was very impressed with the 1 on 1 tutorial system at this programme. This gave the teachers an opportunity to specialise teaching the modules to each student and concentrate on their strengths and weaknesses. Last year I studied Law here while this year I studied Politics. In addition to my studies, I acted like a big brother to all the students here as they were new and I had the opportunity to show them around Oxford and teach them the way of doing things here and always tried to be there for them. Finally I also had lots of fun this time around and met new friends from all around the world!”

“I really enjoyed meeting other students with like-minded interests from a variety of diverse backgrounds and interacting with them in fun activities organized by the course. Something unique to the program, the access to the Bodleian Libraries and the Lincoln College Library, made me truly feel like a student at the University. The staff, specifically Linda Man, the Course Director, and all the kitchen staff, made my stay comfortable, educational, and one of the most enjoyable academic experiences of my young life. “Attending the Psychology Course was one of the wisest decisions of my life at Oxford University.
It was an astonishing experience which widened my knowledge about the related subject.The time spent at Lincoln College has provided me with variety of insights , not only in studies but in terms of socialisation, interaction with teachers and peers from different ethnicities. This course was a complete package offering academic as well as fraternization from punting and excursions to zestful formal dinners. I have enjoyed and learnt a lot from these dinners. The way professors used to guide and interact with us was my favourite part of the formal dinners.I consider myself blessed that I've got a chance to learn under the mentorship of Dr.Danielle Shore.She is so humble and truly a gem.
