ACCOMODATION

Students on this residential programme will be able to enjoy their own single en-suite bedroom.  All rooms contain a bed, a desk, a desk chair, and a wardrobe.  Housekeeping provides daily cleaning of the rooms and a weekly bed linen change.

Accommodation is provided onsite at Lincoln College so this is perfect for attending lessons, dining in the college or studying in the library.  You will also be staying in close proximity to other students meaning the Lincoln College campus will become a dynamic hive for intellectual and social exchange.  Students will have access to the Junior Common Room where they can relax and enjoy each other’s company. The college is also extremely close to the centre of Oxford and the shops and cafes it has to offer.

FOOD & DINING

The Lincoln College Summer Academy Programme is offered on a full-board basis.  This means all meals are included in the price.  You’ll enjoy delicious meals in the college dining hall which include breakfast, lunch and dinner (breakfast only on full-day excursions).  The dining hall is part of the late-medieval complex of buildings that forms Front Quad with a collection of stunning portraits that represent Lincoln’s long history.  Lincoln College is known for its outstanding meals and use of locally sourced produce; they strive to cater for every individual.  A vegetarian option is available as standard and other dietary requirements can usually be met if requested in advance.  

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a formal dining experience – a famous Oxford tradition where students wear formal dress and are served a sumptuous three course dinner.  This extraordinary dining experience is sure to create cherished memories that will stand out as a highlight of the programme.

Lincoln College Campus

Situated only a two-minute walk away from the city centre, Lincoln College is perfectly situated. Established in 1427 under the patronage of the Bishop of Lincoln, Lincoln College proudly stands as a distinguished constituent college within the University of Oxford. Its campus exudes a captivating blend of historical and contemporary architecture, creating an inspiring and picturesque environment. Whilst studying at the college you will have access to their fantastic facilities, including its iconic 18th century library which is one of Oxford’s hidden architectural gems. Lincoln College’s illustrious alumni have achieved remarkable success and among its notable graduates are the renowned children’s book author and cartoonist, Dr. Seuss; the influential theologian, John Wesley; the beloved author, John le Carré; and even the esteemed British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak.
